Ayurveda, the 5,000 year old system of healing and the oldest, continuously practiced medical system in the world, has based its entire philosophy and practice on helping us return to our natural rhythms.  It is considered the original holistic health system. You could say that it is the Yoga of Life, for it teaches us simple, practical ways to live on a daily basis.

We can’t expect to get better through natural healing methods if our life is out of harmony with nature.

When our body and mind are in balance, according to our unique, one-of-a-kind birth constitution, we are healthy. When out of balance, we’re not well. In fact, when the body is in balance, it can heal itself!!!
In our consultations, the focus is on you as an individual. You will learn first hand how to recognize your own nature. With this understanding, you will be able to identify the foods, seasons, stresses and activities in your life that bring about imbalance and the things that can antidote them to bring back your natural state of balance. What works for you will not necessarily help your friend. Your journey to restoring your natural state of wellness is specific for you!
Everything in our culture is so fast paced and it’s easy to fall out of touch with ourselves. Our culture has failed us, in a sense, because it hasn’t taught us the importance of taking care of ourselves on a daily basis. It emphasizes constant activity, accomplishment, achievement and sensory input and output. We are constantly spending energy. Where is the time to renew our energy and take care of ourselves and BE NOURISHED?

You are capable of taking charge of your own life and healing!! Everyday Ayurveda can assist you through a wise understanding of the foods you eat, how and when to eat them, as well as daily practices that will include exercise, rest, massage and more.
