I didn't always see myself as a practitioner of the healing arts.

And then one day, Ayurveda found me.

Isn't that the way it is for all genuine passions?

When people ask me when or why I decided to become an Ayurvedic practitioner, I hesitate at first. But I usually answer, that it was a choiceless choice. There was no decision. I just knew.

But of course, this pathway didn't come out of the blue. It's a culmination of all that I truly love. A lifelong interest in holistic living, whole foods and natural cooking. A deep connection to chanting and sound and understanding all of life as vibration. Many years of immersion in yoga and meditation.

And most important: 35 years of nurturing from my Spiritual Teachers, Ma Jaya Sati Bhagavati and Neem Karoli Baba, from whom I received my most important teachings on nourishment. "Feed Everyone", they urge, referring to serving humanity and sharing unconditional Love, as well as the act of giving food. Their love, lessons and constant guidance are forever entwined in my being.

Who we are is not merely a body. We are a total combination of our body, our mind, our senses and our soul. Throughout our lives we search for nourishment and fulfillment on each of these levels. Only a complete approach to wellness and healing understands these needs.

It's an exciting time to be alive. Ancient wisdom is now available for the modern world and many are looking to Ayurveda with its proven track record for new approaches to thinking and treatment.

Equally exciting for me, are the emergence of new modalities to address the uniquely modern day dilemmas that we face. I am fortunate for a couple of these to have "found" me, much like my experience with Ayurveda.

The MELT Method and Functional Nutrition are in complete resonance with how I approach health and healing. I am grateful for their contributions to the successful resolution of health challenges in myself and my clients and will continue to draw upon them as tools for creating resilient protocols.

If you give yourself permission to slow down and listen--you will have taken the first steps towards true healing and real nourishment.

It would be my pleasure to inspire you on your journey to wholeness and authenticity and act as a guide for your well-being.
